PUTRAJAYA: The Putrajaya Festival of Ideas (Putrajaya FoI) is targeting two million visitors, including 500,000 attending physically and the rest participating virtually. Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir said the festival, from tomorrow to Nov 8, will also provide international audiences with online access to join discussions and discourse sessions.   "People will attend because the programs will feature major discussions and prominent figures." He said this after inspecting preparations for the festival. He said this year's edition has been expanded nationwide.   The programme, themed "Madani: Shaping the Future, Realising Ideas", aims to position Putrajaya as a city of ideas, he added.   It seeks to promote knowledge and higher education to the public while establishing Malaysia as a hub for global intellectual discourse and innovation, he said. This year's theme signals the ministry's intention to translate current ideas into future initiatives.   Indonesia and the Philippines will take part in the festival, while the Asean secretary-general will attend the event.
